Property NewsNational Partnership
Quest Serviced Apartments and MS Australia have formed a partnership to help fight the chronic disease of multiple sclerosis, which afflicts 2.5 million people around the world.
Quest has chosen MS Australia as the main beneficiary from its 'Quest For A Cause' fundraising activities, as there are clear synergies between the two organizations. Quest’s clientele is predominantly the business traveler aged between 30 and 55 while the average age for diagnosis of MS is 30, with 87 per cent of sufferers of working age.
Fundraising activities throughout the year include the annual MS Readathon, Melbourne Summer Cycle, MS Sydney To The Gong Bike Ride and the MS Walk & Fun Run during MS Awareness Week in June.

Quest Townsville supports 'Coast to Coast for Kids' Quest Townsville is a proud supporter of 'Coast to Coast for kids'. ‘Coast to Coast for Kids’ is a 3,000km bicycle ride starting at the top of Far North Queensland in Cooktown on 13th August and finishing in Sydney on 11th September 2010. Founding members David Bonne and Scott Gilbertson, both novice cyclists, have been personally touched by life changing experiences attempting to start a family. Scott and his wife have been through 12 IVF attempts and have sadly lost 5 babies. Dave and his wife cannot have children naturally and are a part of the international adoption process. Choosing charities close to their heart, the ride will raise much needed funding and awareness for the Bonnie Babes Foundation and the Tumbatin Clinic. The ride will take 30 days and the team will endure a variety of conditions and harsh terrain. 5 rest days have been scheduled to preserve the riders physical and mental condition. One of these rest days is scheduled for Townsville on Wednesday 18th September, with a few fundraising events planned. We are encouraging the community to get involved with the Townsville events and donate generously for this wonderful cause.
